Leadership

Christoper Li, MD, PhD
Vice President, Faculty Development
Dr. Christopher Li serves as the Vice President of Faculty Development and holds the Helen G. Edson Endowed Chair for Breast Cancer Research at Fred Hutch.
Dr. Li's research spans breast and colorectal cancer early detection, screening, etiology, survivorship, and investigating disparities in outcomes as a professor in the Public Health Sciences Division and is a research professor in the University of Washington Department of Epidemiology.

Eddie Méndez Scholar Award
The Dr. Eddie Méndez Scholar Award to extend his commitment to supporting early-career scientists, particularly those from underrepresented racial and ethnic backgrounds.

President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program
Fred Hutch now offers postdoctoral research coupled with faculty mentoring, professional development and academic networking opportunities. The fellowship is designed to provide new scholars with time to focus on research and publishing activities that will enhance their prospects for appointment as tenure-track faculty members.
