Dr. Lauren C. Shih is a hematologist and oncologist, a clinician-researcher and a health services researcher who focuses on improving care and outcomes and reducing disparities for patients with head and neck cancers. A graduate of the University of Utah School of Medicine, Dr. Shih also completed a residency in internal medicine, and a fellowship in hematology and oncology, through the University of Washington School of Medicine.
Dr. Shih is involved in clinical research, including interventional clinical trials for patients with head and neck cancers, and health services research concentrating on improving access to and quality of cancer care. She is especially dedicated to improving cancer care, clinical outcomes and quality of life for older adults.
