Here's your chance to get your hands on some of those beautiful, popular candleholders from Seattle-based glassybaby—at a reduced cost, and benefiting Fred Hutch.

On Saturday, Jan. 26 at 8 a.m., the glassybaby hot shop, and studio at 3406 East Union St. in Seattle’s Madrona neighborhood will sell at reduced prices an inventory of less-than-perfect blown-glass votives. The sale ends at 1 p.m.—or when all "seconds" are sold, whichever comes first.

glassybaby will donate five percent of the event's sales to Fred Hutch’s Harold and John Steinberg Memorial Nursing Scholarship Fund, benefiting oncology nurses at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, UW Medicine, and Seattle Children's.

Simultaneous online sale

Fans of glassybaby also can purchase glassybaby online during the sale hours. Enter giving code "secondssale2013" at checkout for 10 percent off a purchase of three or more glassybaby.

A variety of glassybaby colors are included in the seconds sale, but quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Don’t forget: Full price sales of the sea-green 'believe' glassybaby always benefit Fred Hutch’s Family Assistance Fund.
