Surgery

“My journey with every patient begins at their initial clinic visit. I take pride in being an advocate for the patient and their family beginning at that first visit and continuing through surgery, recovery, and long-term follow-up.”

— Dr. Ruzevick

What do you hope it's like for a patient to work with you?

I take great pride in getting to know each and every patients goals for treatment. From the very beginning I will work tirelessly to ensure you and your families expectations are met through clear communication and superb clinical care.

What do you think sets the care apart at Fred Hutch?

Physicians from every different department work incredibly well together, and the system is set up to encourage collaborative work and having free access to making joint decisions with families and members of the care team. It's not just one person —everyone gets a say, and at the end of the day, I think that's the best thing for patients.
