Hematology-Oncology

“Guiding patients through a tough time in life is a task I approach with compassion.”

— Dr. Vishnu

What brought you to hematology?

Blood is the lifeline of our bodies. I am passionate about hematology because discoveries in the field have significantly improved the diagnosis, treatment and quality of life of patients with noncancerous blood disorders.

How do you like to work with patients?

I believe the patient’s best interests should always be the primary consideration. I want to establish a steady doctor-patient partnership and to treat each patient as a unique individual using a multidisciplinary, team-based approach. My goal is to nurture shared decision-making and to provide ongoing patient education to accelerate healing and minimize suffering.
