Medical Oncology

“I understand that every person has unique goals, and I am committed to listening and working with you to help achieve your goals in a way that aligns with your values and priorities.”

— Dr. Raychaudhuri

How do you approach patient care?

As a medical oncologist, I aim to bring the most up-to-date research and evidence-based care to ensure you receive the treatment that is best for you. I like to meet patients where they are – different people have different approaches to how they want to receive their medical care. I don't like being a one-size-fits-all kind of doctor.

What is your approach to working with patients on their care plan?

I want to make sure that the treatment I recommend is in line with everyone’s goals of care. Whether patients are focused on quality of life or maximizing intensive treatments, I’m interested in working with patients to understand what they want and tailor their treatment approach based on that.

Provider Background

Area of Clinical Practice
Genitourinary cancers

I am a medical oncologist who sees patients at the South Lake Union Clinic, Fred Hutch at UW Medical Center - Montlake and UW Medical Center - Northwest. I have a particular interest in prostate cancer because there is a huge spectrum of disease: some people don’t need any treatment at all and others need aggressive treatment. Because of that, there are lots of exciting areas of research and so many avenues for thinking about patients’ quality of life.

Clinical Trials

We make promising new treatments available to you through studies called clinical trials led by Fred Hutch physicians. Many of these trials at Fred Hutch have led to FDA-approved treatments and have improved standards of care globally. Together, you and your physician can decide if a study is right for you.
