Dr. Jennifer M. Specht is a board-certified medical oncologist and clinician-researcher focused on caring for patients through all stages of breast cancer, with a particular expertise in treating triple-negative breast cancer. A graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine, Dr. Specht also completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in medical oncology through the University of Washington School of Medicine.
Dr. Specht is also a clinical trialist with research interests that include breast cancer genetics, immunotherapy and the use of molecular imaging to better understand the biology of breast cancer. She currently serves as the primary investigator for the Translational Breast Cancer Research Consortium (TBCRC) clinical site at the University of Washington. She sees patients in the Bezos Family Immunotherapy Clinic and leads the Phase 1 Breast Cancer Program, which tests the safety and efficacy of novel breast cancer therapies.
